Information Graphics

Today, looks like the best mode to visual represent information, data and knowledge are these graphics. With the advent of slides and spreadsheet software (such as Powerpoint and Excel), our presentations and our papers were filled with multi-form color graphics that help us to represent sets of statistical numbers.
The Information Graphics (or InfoGraphics) improves the way we represent all the information, giving us a visual explanation that helps people to understand, find or do something.
The main InfoGraphics characteristic are:
  • It's visual, but could integrate words and pictures;
  • It's self-explanatory;
  • It makes the understanding process faster and more consistent;
  • It's universally understandable.
