The Innovation in European Language Centres (IELC) blog is now being set up following the CercleS Focus Group meetings on Innovation in the universities of Toulouse, France, in November 2009 and of Messina, Sicily in May 2010. It is open to all members of CercleS and in particular to those interested in promoting innovation in Language Centres. Innovation is not confined to Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) or Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) but concerns all practices and strategies which might help improve teaching and learning in Language Centres. Access to the blog will be provided by passwords which will be distributed by webmaster Francesco Stagno (Messina). The blog will thus offer an informal and protected context for free comment and exchange.
